Prides Crossing #4 HOA Board Meeting Minutes
December 6th, 2018
Board members in attendance: Reed Porter, Steph Wallis, Debbie Huizar, Charlene Stratton, Karen Wilson and Melissa Burzell.
Homeowners in attendance: Chris Kelly, Mary Kelly, Rich Roberts.
Reed called the meeting to order at 6:40pm
Debbie motioned to approve November’s meeting minutes, Charlene seconded the motion, all board members approved.
Re communication:
Charlene created survey postcards re community members communication preferences. Total cost $123.43. Steph motioned to approve, Debbie seconded the motion, all board members approved. An online survey will also be posted on the HOA’s website.
Re a community Facebook page:
Pending review of the HOA’s insurance policy, creation of an HOA Facebook policy, and code of conduct, there will be no voting at this time.
Re enforcement of covenants and rules:
Board members will review revisions by 12/14/18 and approve or deny via an offline vote.
Re attorney fees:
Based on research of comparable fees, the board will be keeping its contract with Damien.
Questions/Comments:
Debbie asked if Carl will be filing the HOA’s taxes, Reed said yes. Rich would need a letter from the board to enroll in Water Wise Aurora. The board agrees, there will be no HOA Board meeting the month of January 2019. Next meeting will be held at Meadow Point Elementary in the library, Thursday February 7th, 2019 at 6:30 PM.
Re reserve study:
Reed will check on current contributions to the reserve fund. The plan is to minimize special assessments, by having a sufficient amount in the reserve fund for future HOA obligations.
At 7:21 the board entered an executive session.
